Episode 18: Consortium of Tribal, State, and Federal Courts with Misty Flowers and Jill Holt

Misty Flowers, Nebraska Indian Child Welfare Coalition (NICWC) Executive Director, and Jill Holt, NICWC Training and Education Director, join us to discuss the mission of their organization in education, advocacy, and bringing people together. Part of this mission is served by serving on the Consortium of Tribal, State, and Federal Courts, which comprises part of the Nebraska Supreme Court's Access to Justice Commission.

The consortium was created in 2018 to improve the working relationship between the tribal, state, and federal courts and to improve the public’s trust and confidence in the various court systems with the ultimate goal of improving access to justice for all court users in Nebraska.
